Sustainability as an innovation magnet

Ideas worth spreading Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader.

Some of the TED talks we do want to highlight: Ray Anderson. At his carpet company InterFace, Ray Anderson has increased sales and doubled profits while turning the traditional “take / make / waste” industrial system on its head. In a gentle, understated way, he shares a powerful vision for sustainable commerce. Interface’s ‘Mount Sustainability’ within their ‘Mission Zero’ is actually defined by the 4 sustainability principles as introduced by Dr. Karl-Henrik Robert.
